I had to write a test today,
and I forgot to study.
That I forgot is not my fault —
I blame it on my buddy!
After school, yesterday,
we both went to the park,
and we were having so much fun,
we played til it was dark.
Then we went home at 5 o’clock
cause it was time to eat.
Then kitchen clean-up was my job —
I left it clean and neat!
But by that time, I sure was tired
cause Henry made me play.
I never thought to study then,
and now I’m going to pay.
My bad mark will be Henry’s fault!
In fact, I’m sure to fail,
yet when I blamed him to his face —
he barked and wagged his tail!

Hi, Peter. Thank you for your kind words. I am keeping well. I think my posts will be sporadic at best. In terms of my writing and reading in the last few years, I’ve been highly undisciplined! I hope to do better and I hope all is well with you.

I’m getting older, but no wiser, and am posting very infrequently now. I do still read and comment on the few regulars that I follow.
