“Garbage Cans”
I’m sorry for our garbage can
so full of stinky stuff,
like rotting scraps from dinners past —
it really must be rough.
But one thing that I know for sure
and I just don’t mean maybe –
I pity Thompsons’ garbage can
cause they just had a baby.
