Edward went to sleep one night
and he began to dream
he was a mighty dinosaur
that made folks run and scream!
Yes, being large and powerful
seemed nothing short of great,
but Edward was a tiny mouse
so he could not relate.
But then, one day, that tiny mouse,
much to his surprise,
walked into a room of kids
and caused loud screams and cries.
They jumped on desks, just freaking out,
and Edward freaked out too
and quickly scurried from the room —
what else could Edward do?
What Edward learned that fateful day
is power’s a surprise
cause it’s about what others think
and not about your size.

A good lesson to learn, Ed. You probably want to make sure and not confuse powerful with invincible or the Library Cat might want to have a discussion about power with you.

I’ll have to check into the Library Cat as I don’t know about it. However, the lesson is definitely there.

Oh, I just mean that a lot of libraries and independent bookstores (when you can find them) seemed to have a cat roaming around. When my kids were small the library had a rabbit, but cats and books always seem to go together. I did just google Library Cat and it was kind of interesting, though, and learned about Bowser:

I googled too after you used the term and was seeing what you saw. Interesting. Notice – no Library Dog in sight. Might have something to do with that tendency to bark.
